🌿 About Homeopathy
Homeopathy is a gentle, holistic system of healing that has been practiced for over 200 years.
It is recognized by the World Health Organization as the second most widely used therapeutic system in the world. This system of medicine was established by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann (1755 – 1843), a German medical doctor and chemist who became disenchanted with harsh and ineffective medical interventions of the time.
It is based on the principle ‘Similia similibus curentur’ or ‘like cures like”. In other words, a substance that can cause symptoms in a healthy person can help heal similar symptoms in someone who is unwell.
One of the core ideas in homeopathy is the “totality of symptoms.” This means that instead of just focusing on a single complaint, a homeopath looks at the entire picture of a person’s health—physical, emotional, and mental. Every symptom, no matter how small, is considered important because it helps form a complete understanding of the individual’s unique condition.
Homeopathic medicines are made from natural substances and are given in very small doses. These remedies are designed to stimulate the body’s own healing response, helping it return to a state of balance and well-being.
What makes homeopathy special is its gentle approach. It aims to support the body without causing side effects, making it suitable for people of all ages.
In essence, homeopathy treats the person, not just the disease—offering a personalized path to healing that respects the body’s natural wisdom.
